Constellation 2

Sirius - A=432

Constellation 2 is an exploration of the higher frequency energies of the human biofield.

Sirius is the brightest star (a star system) in the Earth's night sky. With a visual apparent magnitude of −1.46, it is almost twice as bright as Canopus, the next brightest star. It is 3.5 times brighter than number three, Arcturus.

The name "Sirius" comes from ancient Greek, meaning "glowing" or "scorcher". Sirius is known as the Dog Star as it is the main star in the constellation Canis Major, What the naked eye perceives as a single star is actually a binary star system.

Sirius appears bright because of its closeness to Earth. Sirius is 25 times more luminous than the Sun and nearly twice as large and dense. The whole system is approximately 200--300 million years old.  The system was originally two bright bluish stars. Then Sirius B collapsed upon itself and became a red dwarf about 120 million years ago. One of the easiest to find, it looks like a large rectangle high in winter's south-southeastern sky.
